Wine label design for the 2024 production of the Viu Guimerà Association.
The project seeks to recover and highlight popular and historical words and references from the village of Guimerà, a town of medieval origin, in order to build, through wine, a new promotional and poetic narrative of the place. The label is rooted in its medieval past, the symbol of the Nine of Cups, and a poem by Mn. Ramon Muntanyola, and takes shape as a proposal that reclaims the town’s historical character through poetic language and a lithographic-inspired visual treatment.
